My father is an Archtect. I am now 48 and he is 84 and still designing homes. I got my love for homes from him. Do you have a catalog or something you can send me to order a home from you. My wife and i are now starting to look for property to build our retirement home on and I would love to use this type of earth friendly design for our new home. Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!

Designing within material/sustainable constraints is a challenge that mainstream architects have yet to embrace. Recycled industrial waste (sheet metal, paints, piping, etc.) for temp housing has been used in slums/favelas/barrios around the planet since cities first began to industrialize. From recycled/stolen shipyard waste in La Boca, Buenos Aires to tent cities near the ports in Manilla to tin shacks on the outskirts of Johannesburg, the poorest of poor have used made the most of their environment with shockingly innovative design. It's nice to see that professional developers (and their wealthier clients) are finally following suit.
